ACF Tarp and Awning offers the finest awning and tarp fabrics in the industry. Proper maintenance is important to maximize the life of the end product. Tips on Care of Awning Fabrics
Keep the awning clean.
Hose down the awning regularly and allow to dry completely. Even on mildew resistant fabrics mildew can grow on accumulated dirt or foreign materials and eventually penetrate or damage the fabric.
Keep the awning underside clean by brushing with a clean household broom.
Keep all shrubs and vines clear of awnings, as many bushes contain acids harmful to fabrics.
Repair any small rips or tears promptly.
Check the awning frames frequently for rusting, which can stain or deteriorate fabrics.

Truck Tarp Care
Secure tie down is required for the best cover performance. Wind whipping will damage any fabric.
Choose the right cover for the job, it is difficult to get good tie down and prevent billowing when the cover doesn’t fit.
Tarp materials resist tearing, give them the chance to do their job by padding sharp edges on your load.
Install and remove covers carefully.
Keep covers as clean and dry as possible.
Inspect your load covers frequently and repair minor tears and pinholes before they become more serious.

With only the minimum amount of attention your awnings and tarps will remain serviceable for years.
